Delightfully Small ~ ~S. Dalman~ A beautiful simple 30hr English country clock with a golden oak case. The case has mahogany cross banding, and has developed a lovely mellow patina from years of TLC in a local home. The case has had very little restoration work as we found it in this beautiful condition. Original keyhole escution and patrae. Square painted dial and swan neck pediment. The Painted 12 inch dial is by well known dial makers Walker and Hughes. Restoration included cleaning and re-touching of dial, there is evidence of old restoration to the date dial. The 30 hour movement striking on a bell Movement has been cleaned and having been found in a deteriorated condition, has been restored to full working order in our own workshop. Case has been cleaned and hand waxed. Height 79 inch to top of swan neck pediment. Lots of pictures - Click to see more

~ ANGEL ~ Circa 1865 This super quality clock is cast and gilded BRASS, not spelter. Depicting a romantic Angel playing an organ, the open book at her side reads "Glory to God with Good Music". Gorgeous Gothic motifs. The eight day movement strikes the hours and half hours on a bell and is stamped with the makers name 'Poupin A' Paris' as is the white enamel dial. Condition is excellent, movement is un-restored, clean and running. There is a faint hairline to the enamel dial which does not detract. Pendulum has been replaced with one faithful to the original. What a lovely accent for a Tudor, Medieval or Gothic 'look'. The finishing touch for any Angel collection.
