A super clock set depicting a muse of music playing a lute. She is beautifully captured by the sculptor. The base of the clock is signed by the artist on a plaque with the name of the piece "Pastorale" and the artists name "Aug. Moreau". The vases are in the form of classical ampoules and are decorated with cherubs and flaming torches. The clock itself is surmounted by flaming torches and a laurel wreath.
