Large Antique Tapestry - The Hunting Party

~ Late Victorian ~

A highly decorative Tapestry, most probably from Belgium around 1890. A lady arrives at the hunting party riding side saddle. You can just make out the hunting lodge in the right hand near distance and the grand house in the left far distance.

Condition is reasonable - there are two areas of pulled threads, each side close to the frame and some smaller pulls. The colours have faded to brown.

The frame is new and of good quality. The tapestry has been properly stretched to the frame and backed with plywood sheet.

A very decorative addition to your home!
