~ French - Circa 1860 ~ ~~ Excellent condition ~~ A beautiful, small Louis XV style boudoir clock of kingwood veneer with ormolu mounts. Very nice quality with glazed front and sides and surmounted by an ormolu figure of cupid, who is seated with his bow and quiver of arrows. Case is keyhole shaped with floral swags in ormolu forming the edges and the feet. The pendulum is in the form of a swag of flowers and can be seen swinging inside the glazed case. It is complete with the original bell and pendulum. Click the movie below to see and hear the movement working! Condition of the case is
very good, there are some minor marks to the veneer and a small piece on the

holes. A pretty French Boudoir clock in excellent condition! Dimensions of clock: Height 16", Width 8 1/2", Depth 4 1/2".
