Highland Cattle in Glencoe

From the collection of a local Gentleman, a super oil on board of Glencoe, with highland cattle being driven past crofters cottages with the mist rolling around the mountainous landscape in the distance. Painted in the impressionist style by Henry Hadfield Cubley - an artist well known to us and listed on the Artprice website. Signed in the bottom left hand corner of the picture - see close up below.

Condition is excellent, the painting is bright and clean. The painting is inscribed on the rear of the board "in Glencoe" and dated 1913 together with the artists signature. The frame is probably original - it is in good condition.
