This is a very large and early French clock of very fine quality depicting Hercules, one of the oldest and most illustrious heroes in Greek mythology. It is Bronze and Sienna marble and is of huge, architectural proportions.

A stunning Rococo clock of red tortoiseshell veneer and finely cast and gilded ormolu. The tortoiseshell has a lovely rich patina and the original gilding of the ormolu is bright and clean. Stunning Gilt Cartel Clock

A very decorative Rococo Gilt cartel clock - made in Sweden in the first half of the 20th century. Very good quality - the case is gesso work - plaster and wood, gilded. The high spots have worn to the red undercoat and some minor losses of gilding and plaster only add to the antique appearance.
